Spinner

A spinner can be one of several things:
- A dolphin species, the Spinner Dolphin.

- A flying car from the film Blade Runner - see Spinner (Blade Runner).
- A spin bowler in the sport of cricket.
- An executive toy marketed with the trade name Spinner, which is a magnetically levitated horizontal axle that spins while freely floating in air.
- Fans of Disney's cartoon series TaleSpin refer to themselves as Spinners.
- A spinner (wheel) goes on an automobile wheel and spins independently.
- A GUI (graphical user interface) component used to select the previous or next of a set of contiguous values.
- A laboratory equipment for cultivating plant or mammalian cells see Spinner (Cell Culture).
- Gavin "Spinner" Mason, a character from Degrassi: The Next Generation played by Shane Kippel.
- A term for a mobile phone user, identified by 02 plc, who buys a new pre-paid handset, uses the inclusive credit and once this is used up disposes of the phone/ sim.
