Star Cruises is the third-largest cruise line in the world behind Carnival Corporation and Royal Caribbean. Star Cruises is the leading cruise line in Asia-Pacific and owns Norwegian Cruise Line, NCL America, Norwegian Capricorn Line, Orient Lines and Cruise Ferries brands with total combined fleet of 22 ships and over 35,000 berths. An associate of the Genting Group of Malaysia [1], it was incorporated in Bermuda on 10 November 1993 with its corporate headquarters in Hong Kong [2], and is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange SEHK: 678 and the Singapore Exchange SGX: S21 on Clob International. In year 2000, Star Cruises acquired NCL and become the first global cruise line.

Its foray into the global shipping market has allowed it to tap into lucrative and more mature markets in Europe and North America. Its services are catered to Asian passengers as well as to Europeans, North Americans and Australians interested in Asian destinations.
