Strandherd Station is a future transit station in Ottawa, Ontario. Currently, under construction, it will be opened in late 2006 or early 2007 and will contain a park and ride facility. It will be located northeast of the intersection of Strandherd Drive and the access to the Riocan Marketplace shopping area in which there will be also a new transit and possible O-Train station starting in 2009-2010. This is part of OC Transpo's plans to extend its southwest Transitway to its suburb areas.
Route 95 will be extended to Strandherd when the facility will be in operation. It will provide additionnal spaces for south end resident in Barrhaven, Heart's Desire, Davidson Heights and Manotick.
