Stuhać
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Stuhać is a demonic mythical creature in Serbian mythology, recorded in Herzegovina<ref name=SMR>Š. Kulišić, P. Ž. Petrović, N. Pantelić [1970]. “Стухаћ”, Српски митолошки речник (in Serbian). Belgrade: Nolit, 278.</ref>. Though its name is similar with zduhać, there is no actual similarity.
Stuhać lives in high mountains and barren areas; how it looks isn't described, however it is known that it wears clutters made of human ligaments on its legs, so that it wouldn't slip on mountain precipices<ref name=SMR/>. If its clutter would broke, he would pull ligaments frome someone's legs to make new one<ref name=SMR/>.
