Subzero literally means "beneath zero." As such, it is usually used for negative numbers, especially with regards to temperature.
Subzero can also mean:
- Sub-Zero Refrigerator, a refrigerator brand name.
- Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero, an animated 1998 movie.
- Noob Saibot, a Mortal Kombat character who was at one point known as Sub-Zero.
- Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero, a spin-off videogame featuring Noob Saibot (at the time known as Sub-Zero).
- Sub-Zero (Mortal Kombat), one of the characters from the video game series Mortal Kombat and Noob Saibot's younger brother.
- Subzero (horse), a racehorse that won the 1992 Melbourne Cup.
- Sub Zero (television), a television gameshow for children produced by the BBC.
- One of the "stalkers" from the movie The Running Man.
- Subzero (band), a "metalcore" band under the Stillborn Records label.
