Sudair

Sudair is an area located 150 km north of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, containing many cities and villages such as Rawdat Sudair, Oshairah, Odah, Attar, Hotat Sudair, and Junaifi. Most of the people living in Sudair have moved to Riyadh.
Projects
In the middle of Sudair near Hotat Sudair a new petrochemical complex of the magnitude of Jobail. It is in the initial stages of completion, the complex is going to connect the eastern and western petrochemical cities by providing a city in between.
Climate
Sudair has an arid climate in general but most of the cities and towns are located inside the Sudair Valley that provides the protection and water to grow some stable grains but mostly dates.
The variety of dates that grow in the Sudair province, called kudry, are darker and have a stronger flavor from the rest of the dates in the kingdom. Graded locally as low quality, they are highly prized abroad.
