Sundown Towns: A Hidden Dimension of American Racism is a book by James Loewen, released in October 2005. Its subject is that of sundown towns, towns in which blacks, Jews, and other minority groups were encouraged to leave before sundown in order to prevent racially-motivated violence against them.
