TOS TrekMUSE

TOS TrekMUSE an online text-based virtual reality game based in the Star Trek universe. It runs on a MUSE server, which is closely related to a MUSH.

The events of TOS TrekMUSE take place after the end of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, before the timeframe of the television series Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and similar books and movies. Characters such as Captain Kirk, Captain Spock, and Captain Sulu are still alive in this setting.

Players can role-play Terrans, Vulcans, Tellarites, Andorians, Orions, Romulans, or Klingons. They join one of these empires as normal citizens, and can then become part of the military (e.g. Starfleet), the diplomatic corps, the intelligence organization, the merchant marines, or take any other job their empire provides.

To date, there have been active players from every inhabited continent.
