TRIM Context is an integrated Electronic Document and Records Management (EDRM) software product built by TOWER Software.

As an ECM application,TRIM Context incorporates:

  1. Document management

    TRIM Context integrates with common desktop content creation applications – such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. This integration allows users to save and open content from desktop applications directly to, and from, the corporate content repository. The solution enables an organization to manage and secure any type of business document.

  2. E-mail management

    TRIM Context Integates with major e-mail systems to allow staff to file, retrieve and work with e-mail in the same way as they work with their Office suite documents. E-mail stored in TRIM Context maintains its evidential integrity, Which is an important requirement for organizations.

  3. Process management

    TRIM Context includes workflow and action tracking procedures to allow the mapping of business practices, and to assist users who are part of these processes

  4. Records management

    TRIM Context include solid Records Management foundations which ensure an organization can comply with the relevant legislation and regulations governing how an organization should keep and archive corporate information, such as the Sarbanes Oxley Act.

  5. Web Content Management

    TRIM Context also includes a module that allows for users to manage web sites, and to support organizations who are publishing content to the internet.

  6. Integration with Line of Business Applications

    TRIM Context contains a COM and Web Services API that allows developers to integrate existing business applications or build applications on the TRIM ECM platform.
