To tame is the act of domesticating wild animals and can also mean several things:

• One of the two River Tames in England:
  • The River Tame, Greater Manchester
  • The River Tame (West Midlands) and the Tame Valley
• The Colombian town and municipality of Tame, in the Arauca Department
• "Tame", a song by the Pixies from their 1989 album Doolittle
• Optional but less frequent spelling of TAME (IATA code: EQ), an airline that belongs to the Ecuadorian military
