Salistea

Coordinates: 45°54′N 23°24′E Salistea is a municipality of Alba County, Transylvania, Romania, situated near the Mureş River. Salistea itself has a population of 1,252. Included in the municipality are the villages of Margineni (population 77), Salistea Deal (population 309) and Tărtăria (Hungarian: Alsótatárlaka, population 745).

The Tărtăria tablets were discovered in Tartaria in 1961 by Nicolae Vlasa.fr:Tărtăria wa:Tărtăria
