Teesport

Teesport is one of the UK's 3 largest ports<ref>PD Ports plc. Retrieved on 2006-05-11.</ref>, lies 3 miles (5 km) to the East of Middlesbrough.
The port covers an area of 200 hectares (2 square kilometres) of land alongside the Southern bank of the River Tees. At its heart is Tees Dock, a deep-water facility some 5 nautical miles (9 km) from the sea. The estate is rail connected and close to the A66 trans-pennine route, and to other major trunk roads.
Facilities include a 294 metre Container Quay and Roll-on Roll Off (RORO) facilities
