Tejas

Tejas has several meanings:
- Tejas means "all who are friends" (also meaning radiance or fire) in Caddo and was the name given by Spanish explorers to the Hasinai group of Caddo-speaking Native Americans.
- The name Tejas was also given to the region of New Spain and/or Mexico where the Hasinai lived; see Coahuila y Tejas and/or Republic of Texas. Tejas remains the Spanish name of Texas.
- Tejas was also the code name of a microprocessor developed by Intel (see Tejas and Jayhawk).
- Tejas (meaning radiance or fire in Sanskrit) is the synonym for agni in the Panchamahabhuta, the five Hindu elements, although it can also be used to mean `brilliance of the sun`
- It is the official name of India's indigenously developed Light Combat Aircraft (LCA).
- Tejas is the fifth album by American blues-rock band ZZ Top, released in 1977.
- A traditional candy from Peru and Spain.
