Chieftains 1 was one of the first folk albums to be recorded in stereo.

Paddy Moloney (uilleann pipes, tin whistle), Martin Fay (fiddle), Seán Potts (tin whistle), Dave Fallon (bodhrán), Michael Tubridy (flute, concertina, tin whistle). Recorded at Peter Hunt Studios, Ireland, 1963.
