"The Current" is a song by the Blue Man Group, released as their first ever single from their 2003 album The Complex. The song deals with urban and occupational isolation, furthering one; of the albums two themes; of isolation. The isolation theme is furthered by the setting; the song takes place underground, presumably in the sewer system, hinting that it may be a sewage worker singing. The song was also on the soundtrack for Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. The song features the guest vocals of Gavin Rossdale of Bush.
