The Simpsons' 6th season (September 1994 - May 1995) began on September 4, 1994. The Season contained the episode where Mr. Burns got Shot.
The season also contains two hold-over episodes from the season 5 (1F) production line. It also contains an episode written by the staff of former show runners Al Jean and Mike Reiss's show The Critic. The sixth season was released on DVD August 16, 2005 in the USA, and October 17, 2005 in the UK.
