Timothy Robert Shell (born May 5, 1968 [1]) is an American internet entrepreneur. He is the CEO of Bomis. Shell has been with the company since its inception in 1996, and was a founding partner [2].

Shell was named as an initial trustee in the Wikimedia Foundation in the organization's bylaws[3]. Currently serving as the Board's Executive Secretary, Shell makes few new editorial contributions to Wikipedia as of 2006.
