Tin Foil Phoenix is a hard rock band from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

The band formed as a trio in the mid-1990s with Michael Allen Zirk, Steven Kray and Fish. Bassist Paul Robinson joined the band in 1999 and two years later, they added another guitarist, Phil Cholosky.

In 2001, they released Hurry, an independent seven-song EP. Its first single, Neopolitan, got a great amount of airplay on Canadian radio. The song soon caught the music industry's attention and the band was signed to 604 Records/Universal in the summer of 2002. The deal guaranteed the release of their debut album in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.

Their highly-anticipated first full-length album, Living In The Shadow Of The Bat, was released in 2004 by 604/Universal. Their self-titled sophomore release is set for early 2007.
