Tom Christensen

Tom Christensen is a Canadian politician and former lawyer. He is British Columbia's Minister of Children and Family Development. Christensen has also served as Minister of Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation, and as Minister of Education.
In the 2001 British Columbia general election he was elected a Member of the Legislative Assembly for Okanagan-Vernon representing the British Columbia Liberal Party. He was returned in the 2005 election with 43% of all votes.
Tom Christensen is a common name of Danish origin, and there are also several other notable persons with this name.
