Casque-headed Treefrogs (Trachycephalus) is a genus of frogs in the Hylidae family, and are found in eastern Brazil and Pacific lowlands from southern Colombia to northern Peru. In a recent revision the seven species of the genus Phrynohyas was included in this genus and Phrynohyas is now considered a synonym of Trachycephalus [1].
