Travelin' Thru

"Travelin' Thru" is a 2005 song written by Dolly Parton and used in the film Transamerica.
In 2006, the song was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Song. During the 78th Academy Awards broadcast of March 5, 2006, Parton performed "Travelin' Thru" live on stage. Parton was the best-known of the nominated songwriters, but the song did not win an Oscar.
The song was also nominated for Best Original Song by the Foreign Press' for the Golden Globes that year, and Best Song by the Broadcast Film Critics Association, though it won neither award. According to the New York Times Website, Movies section, Travelin' Thru did win for best original song at the Phoenix Film Critics Society Awards 2005.
