Trenchcoat is a live-action film produced by Walt Disney Pictures in 1983. The movie was directed towards a more adult audience when released at theaters, and therefore, Disney did not attach its name as such (it was rated PG in 1983).
[edit] Synopsis
Sinister settings, menacing murderers and international intrigue are all revealed in this fast-paced, engaging detective spoof with plenty of plot twists. When aspiring mystery writer Mickey Raymond (Margot Kidder) travels to Malta to research her next novel and falls in love with a handsome, mysterious American (Robert Hays), she is drawn into a conspiracy more treacherous than any of the imaginary capers in her unpublished books.
