Triphosgene

Triphosgene (Bis(trichloromethyl) carbonate, C3Cl6O3) is a chemical compound that is used as a substitute for phosgene. At room temperature, the compound is a white crystalline solid that decomposes around 130 °C. The decomposition temperature of impure samples is lower.
Being a solid, even small amounts may be weighed easily to add the exact desired amount to a reaction.
