Troidini is the tribe of Aristolochia swallowtails that includes the genus Battus.
It consists of 136 species worldwide and 3 species that occur North America. This tribe feeds on the poisonous Aritolochia plants, and as a result is poisonous itself and is mimicked by other butterflies. <ref>Scott, James A. (1986). The Butterflies of North America.
