Trust Buster was the name given to President Theodore Roosevelt. Teddy was given that nickname because of the many trusts he dissolved during his two terms as President.

This name however, is probably more suited for Roosevelt's successor, President William Howard Taft. Taft brought an end to 90 trusts in one term, whereas Roosevelt only disbanded 44 in two terms. Although Taft may have done more to control the trusts while in office, Roosevelt retains the nickname because he was the pioneer of trust-busting.
