A tubeteika (Russian: Тюбетейка) is a Central Asian cap, today worn in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan. The tubeteika is worn typically by the turkic ethnic groups of the region. It bears some superficial resemblance to the yurt, another Central Asian cultural icon.
