The third USS Stockdale (DDG-106) will be an Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer in the United States Navy. Stockdale is named after Vice Admiral James Stockdale.

The new destroyer is scheduled for delivery in 2008. Stockdale will be the 56th destroyer in her class.

She was authorized on 13 September 2002 and is scheduled to be built by Bath Iron Works.
