Upper Saxon Circle

A map of the Imperial Circles as at the beginning of the 16th century.  The Upper Saxon Circle is shown in pink. The Upper Saxon Circle (in German, Obersächsischer Reichskreis) was an Imperial Circle of the Holy Roman Empire. It was created in 1512.

The circle was dominated by the two electorates of Brandenburg and Saxony.
