The Val d’Orcia, or Valdorcia, is a region of Tuscany, Italy. It is often seen in photographs. Recently added in the Unesco's Heritage List the Val d'Orcia stretches from the hills south of Siena to Monte Amiata, and is made up by gentle, carefully-cultivated hills occasionally broken by gullies. Full of picturesque towns and villages like Pienza, Radicofani, Montalcino the Val d'Orcia is the essence of Tuscany.
