  • Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890), Netherlands artist.
  • Theo van Gogh (1857-1891), Netherlands art dealer, brother of Vincent.
  • Vincent Willem van Gogh (1890-1978), son of Theo van Gogh and nephew of Vincent van Gogh. He is the father of the brothers Johan and Theo van Gogh, and the grandfather of the film director Theo van Gogh.
  • Johan van Gogh (b. 1936), Netherlands BVD official, grandson of the art dealer Theo van Gogh and father of the film director Theo van Gogh.
  • Theo van Gogh (1920 - 1945), member of the resistance in the Netherlands in World War II; grandson of the art dealer Theo van Gogh. He was executed by a German firing squad on 8 March 1945.
  • Theo van Gogh (1957-2004), Netherlands film director, TV programme maker and columnist; great grandchild of the art dealer Theo van Gogh.
  • Ruben van Gogh, (b. 1967) Netherlands poet.
