Velo City

Velo-City is a series of cycle planning conferences occurring every two years. The conference series was launched in 1980 by the European Cyclists' Federation (ECF). The conferences are one of worlds primary forums for the exchange of bicycling expertise.
The conference guests and speakers were initially mainly bicycle advocates, but they are now increasingly administrators and experts in the fields of engineering, planning and health as well as bicycle advocates.
Conferences have been held in the following locations:

- 1987 - Groningen, The Netherlands
- 1989 - København, Denmark
- 1991 - Milano, Italy
- 1993 - Nottingham, United Kingdom
- 1995 - Basel, Switzerland
- 1997 - Barcelona, Spain
- 1999 - Graz, Austria and Maribor, Slovenia
- 2001 - Edinburgh and Glasgow, Scotland
- 2003 - Paris, France
- 2005 - Dublin, Ireland
- 2007 - Munich, Germany
