Venezuelan peso

The peso was the currency of Venezuela between 1843 and 1874. It was subdivided into 10 reales, each of 10 centavos. The peso replaced the Colombian real at a rate of 8 Colombian reales = 1 peso. It was replaced by the venezolano at par.
