William Sylvester

William Sylvester (January 31 1922 – January 25 1995) was an American TV and film actor. Among his film credits was Dr. Heywood R. Floyd in Stanley Kubrick's 2001 A Space Odyssey. He can also be seen in a brief cameo as a German Luftwaffe officer at the beginning of The Hindenburg (1975). He co-starred in the 1964 film Devil Doll and several other low-budget films of that era.
