An American architect best known for his work on Carnegie Hall. He also designed 355 Riverside Drive, the Schinasi Mansion at Riverside Drive and 107th Street<ref>" The Marble Manor That Turkish Tobacco Built" Christopher Gray, The New York Times, May 4, 1997</ref>, and a row of extant townhouses along 122nd Street near Mount Morris (now Marcus Garvey) Park in Harlem.
