Winkel () is a town in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Niedorp, and lies about 11 km north of Heerhugowaard.
In 2001, the town of Winkel had 2224 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 1.1 km², and contained 861 residences.<ref name="CBS">Statistics Netherlands (CBS), Bevolkingskernen in Nederland 2001. (Statistics are for the continuous built-up area).</ref> The statistical area "Winkel", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 2650.<ref name="CBS2">Statistics Netherlands (CBS), Statline: Kerncijfers wijken en buurten 2003-2005.
