The Wooden Horse is a device used in BDSM. The woman is lifted into the air and set on the horse. Her full body weight is supported only on her genital region, although ropes and weights may be used to keep her balanced and from falling off.
The wooden horse often comes in two styles. One which is a straight plank oriented so the woman is resting on the narrow end of the device. This allows for the woman's legs to go straight down. The other is triangular, which spreads the woman's legs out and also means that the woman is resting on more of a point than she is with just the straight plank. The latter is often described as being more painful.
The first instance of where the Wooden Horse is used as a BDSM device is likely to be the from Japan. It can still be found in some of Japan's pornography, especially hentai.
