Ylitornio (Övertorneå in Swedish) is a municipality of Finland.

It is located in the province of Lapland, Finland. The municipality has a population of 5,314 (2003) and covers an area of 2,207.18 km² of which 183.69 km² is water. The population density is 2.6 inhabitants per km².

The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
