Yohannes Haile-Selassie

Dr. Yohannes Haile-Selassie is an Ethiopian paleoanthropologist. He is an authority on pre-Homo sapiens hominids, particularly those that have been discovered in the Rift and Middle Awash Valleys of East Africa. He was instrumental in the identification of the newly discovered species Australopithecus garhi in 1997.
He is currently Curator and Head of Physical anthropology at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History in Cleveland, Ohio.
