Yooper

A Yooper is a person who lives in, or was born and raised in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Yoopers in Troll Land are Yoopers who were born and raised in the Upper Peninsula, but moved to the Lower Peninsula.
A Yooper may also be:
- The Upper Peninsula of Michigan and its people (Yoopers)
- Yooper dialect: The dialect of English speech used by the inhabitants of the Upper Peninsula
- Yoopered: A slang term for drunkenness used by inhabitants of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan
- Da Yoopers: A comedy/musical group from the area of the Upper Peninsula
