You're An Education is a 1938 Merrie Melodies cartoon directed by Frank Tashlin.

[edit] Synopsis

The brochures in a travel agency come to life.

[edit] Trivia

This was Frank Tashlin's last cartoon with Warner Brothers for five years; he left the studio to become a gag writer with Disney, then moved to Columbia Pictures to direct. He would return in 1943.

The Blue Ribbon reissue of this cartoon is missing about 45 seconds of footage. It is unknown if an uncut copy of this cartoon is known to exist.

The short is almost never seen on television because of a handful of racially-insensitive characters included.

This is the third and final entry in Tashlin's Books-Come-To-Life trilogy released in 1937-1938.
