"You Are the Sunshine of My Life" is a 1973 pop single released by Motown music great Stevie Wonder. The song became Wonder's third number-one pop single and won Wonder a Grammy for Best Pop Male Vocal Performance. Wonder has released two versions of this song. The more common version features a trumpet in the background and another version has no trumpet.
Rolling Stone ranked the song #281 on their list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.
