Young Divas are a band consisting of former Australian Idol contestants Ricki-Lee Coulter, Paulini Curuenavuli, Kate DeAraugo and Emily Williams.

After the third series of Australian Idol, Emily Williams and Kate DeAraugo were told they may be joining together as a duet in mid-2006. In early 2006 Sony BMG chose to form an all-girl band comprised of Paulini Curuenavuli from Season 1, Ricki-Lee Coulter from Season 2, and Emily Williams and Kate DeAraugo from Season 3.
The group's first single was "This Time I Know It's for Real", a remake of the 1989 song by Donna Summer. The single was released May 6, 2006 and reached number two on the ARIA Charts. At the time of release, a video was not shot, but because of the overwhelming response to the single, a video for the song was shot in Sydney in late June. [1] Their second single is set to be a cover of Lonnie Gordon's "Happenin' All Over Again" and is due for release on November 11. The Young Divas have appeared in numerous television shows. They have performed their first single "This Time I Know It's for Real" in the grand final show of Dancing with the Stars. In July 2006, they performed in the singing contest show It Takes Two, singing "It's Raining Men". They also performed Proud Mary originally sung by Creedence Clearwater Revival. They have also sung Destiny's Child's "Bootylicious" live. On 22 October 2006, they performed "This Time I Know It's for Real" at Channel Seven's Telethon event. Their self-titled album was released on 18 November, 2006.
The Young Divas also took part to record a song called "2000 Miles" for Home: Songs Of Hope & Journey which is a compliation album by various Australian artists to raise funds and bring attention to beyondblue, an Australian initiative against depression.
