Yuán Shàng (袁尚) (177 – 207) was the third son of Yuán Shào.

Yuán Shào favored Yuán Shàng due to his abilities and good looks. After Yuán Shào's death during the year of 202, Yuán Shàng fought against his eldest brother, Yuán Tán for succession. They were defeated, however, by Cáo Cāo, forcing Yuán Shàng to seek refuge with Yuán Xī, who at that time was the protector of You Zhou. Yuán Shàng however soon met his fate along with his brother Yuán Xī when invited to stay at a certain place, and in the end were attacked by one of Cáo Cāo's men Gongsun Kang, ultimately being beheaded.
