Yugoslav First League
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Yugoslav First League (Prva Liga) was the premier football league in the former Yugoslavia (1945-1991).
It also served the same role in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (1991-2003) before FRY was renamed Serbia and Montenegro; for that league, please see First League of Serbia and Montenegro.
The First League Championship was one of two national competitions held annually in Yugoslavia, the Yugoslav Cup being the second competition.
