Yukigassen
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Yukigassen (雪合戦?) is a snowball fighting-competition from Japan. Today there are annual tournaments in Sobetsu, Hokkaido in Japan, Kemijärvi in Finland and Vardø in Norway
The word Yukigassen consists of the Japanese words yuki (snow) and gassen (throw). Hence Yukigassen means to toss snow or to throw snowballs.
