Yurga

Yurga (Russian: Юрга́) is a town in Kemerovo Oblast, Russia. It is located on the Talaya River (formerly called Yurga) at . Population: 85,555 (2002 Census).
Yurga was founded in 1886. Work settlement status granted in 1942; town status since 1949.
The 74th Motor Rifle Brigade of the Russian Ground Forces is based here.
