Yuzawa (湯沢市; -shi) is a city located in Akita, Japan.

The city was founded on March 311954. In 2003, the city had an estimated population of 34,194 and a density of 170.80 persons per km². The total area was 200.20 km².
On March 222005, the former towns of Minase, Inakawa, and Ogachi (All in Ogachi District) merged into the city, increasing its area to 790.72 km² and its population to 57,460.
