Zapateado

The zapateado is a Spanish dance characterized by a lively rhythm puncuated by the clapping of the dancer's heels. Among the composers to write zapateados is Pablo de Sarasate, whose opus 23, no. 2 is a version of the dance scored for violin and piano.
