Zeeuws-Vlaanderen

Image:Ltspkr.pngZeeuws-Vlaanderen is the part of the Netherlands (nr. 9 in the satellite image) on the south shore of the Western Scheldt (b), originally a distributary of the river Scheldt (a). It is in the south-west of the country and part of the province of Zeeland.
The Ghent-Terneuzen Canal (d in the image) passes through Zeeuws-Vlaanderen.
Since 2003 it consists of only three municipalities: Sluis in the west, Terneuzen in the middle and Hulst in the east.
