Image:Dual apple monitors.jpg Image:Power Mac G4 MDD and Studio Display.jpg The Apple Cinema Display is a product line of flat panel monitors made by Apple Computer. Older models ran DVI, USB, and 25V power all through a single ADC connector. Current models use plain DVI, for better compatibility. Older models came in high density plastic frames with an easel-style stand. Newer models have an aluminum stand whose design is the same as the iMac G5's stand, and whose color matches the Power Mac G5, Mac Pro and MacBook Pro computers. They come in 20-, 23-, and 30-inch models. While designed to match Apple computers, the displays are also compatible with PC computers that are equipped with the appropriate video card. The 30-inch Cinema HD Display's plug is Dual Link DVI, which requires relatively exotic video cards to drive the monitor. Currently LG-Philips produces the LCD panel for the Apple Cinema Displays.

While they are favoured by graphics designers and Mac fans, the monitors have attracted some criticism due to their relatively high price and lack of features compared to competing models.
